Green Acres Gardens Bed & Breakfast : Bed & Breakfast Country Style!! An Oasis from Dallas just a short trip away! Nestled in the rolling hills aside Lake Lavon are our 28 acres of peace and quiet!! Green Acres Garden Bed & Breakfast - a wonderfully decorated modern escape to the country!! 2 lovely bedrooms with shades in the windows, Luxury thread count sheets . The private bath is equipped with a huge shower which easily would accomodate 2 or one in a wheelchai - A shower seat is removable if you want it out!! Do you have a golfer in the family or just a golf enthusiast?? We ahve a nice putting green (see picture) just built in Sept. 2006. Putters/balls provided at no extra charge, play to your hearts content!! The living/Kitchen area has comfy leather furniture, throw pillows and blankets for napping or snuggling!! The lovely negative edge pool is available for your use in the right weather, there is also a hot tub over behind the main house. There are facilities for a small to medium party! ALSO - now available--- a romantic evening or weekend with options available like Chocolate dipped Strawberries, Champagne or Sparkling Apple juice!! Those things are available at a small extra fee just to cover my expenses. I am very flexible and will do my best to accomodate special requests!! IF you bring your own spirits, there are plenty of glasses and accessories in the kitchen. I leave soft drinks, snacks and fruit for all guests with no extra charge. Breakfast consists of everything from a continental breakfast at your leisure to an invitation to join us at te Bollengier breakfast table (takeout is also available!!) Our Beautiful guest house filled with remembrances of my beloved grandparents!! It is Handicap accesible. You will agree - THIS IS A GREAT DEAL!! What would a huge suite cost at a motel?? 2 separate bedrooms, peace at night from the kids... Or even 2 couples traveling together!! Stay here while you go to the Texas State Fair, The Cotton Bowl, or dozens of other events in Dallas or the DFW Metroplex!!! Still the most reasonable in the area and when you see the superior facility and the excellent care, it is impossible to beat!! RULES FOR OUR KENNEL: NO. 1 - Bring Food No. 2 - Bring CURRENT Immunization Record - unless it is on file here already! No. 3 - All DOGS NEED A Collar. I have leashes but they need a collar first!! I have a big play yard and cannot chase them and catch them if they can't wear a leash!! I will give them a low cost collar if you bring them without one and charge your bill ($1 or $2) PLEASE NOTE!! I am adding this rule 6/25/08!!! I used to board my dogs (I have a lot!!) when I went out of town, tried pet-sitting too!! Neither one worked for me!! Boarding cost me $1000 or more every time and they wouldn't ever let me pick my dogs up after 5 or at all on Sunday!! Then my dogs came home beat-up, with kennel cough (even after current immunization) once one even came home PREGNANT!! The pet sitting ended up with a huge mess for me to clean up, I worried about someone I didn't know hanging out in my home and several family pets were let loose or eaten. One time our male chihuahua was at a neighbor's house 3 days and the pet-sitter either didn't notice or was afraid to tell me. ANYWAY, that is why I have a kennel and why I have reasonable rates. The only catch is that it is only us... It is here at our house and when we are gone you can't bring or pick up your dog(s). There have been very few times that I couldn't work out the time someone wanted to come - just PLEASE book an appointment before you make a trip out!! We have 15 large indoor/outdoor runs! Trust your dog to be in the best care in a clean safe environment! Let me spoil your fur-babies while you go on vacation! I will give you email and several phone numbers to keep in touch while you travel! For an additional charge, I will pick-up or drop off your pets! $1 per mile one way from my place to yours!! Our immediate area is Princeton, Farmersville, McKinney, Plano, Allen, Lucas, Wylie, North Dallas, RIchardson, etc. What a great value if you are in a hurry!! My husband, kids and I love all dogs - we've been breeders of Scottish Teriers for over 10 years. We live on a gorgeous 14 acre farm overlooking Lake Lavon, 12 miles from Central Expressway and Bethany in Allen All 15 runs are over 50 square feet with concrete walls 4 feet high to protect your pet from a dog in the next run over... Or perhaps - protect that dog from your dog... LOL!! Please bring your pet's food from home, a change in diet at an already stressful time is not a good idea!! . However, if you forget, we will feed them at a minimal charge: FOOD - Under 50 lbs - I charge $1 per day per dog. $2 per dog/day for over 50 lbs THis is if no food is provided OR they run out, I charge for the days I fed them (it is best for your dog's digestion if you bring a sufficient amount of their normal feed!) Bring a little more than you think they will eat, I throw out any that they spill or otherwise contaminate. Of course all immunizations must be current... Please go by your Vet prior to your stay and get a copy of their shot record. If you are unable to do that, I can call your vet for you and ask them to please fax them to us. I do not mind nor charge for this service!! I also do not charge for giving pets medicine as long as it is something I can hide in their food and they will eat it. Current tricks are hiding pills in peanut butter or cat food.... However the best thing would be if you bring pill pockets with you, I haven't met a dog yet that won't eat those yummy things!! I'm not fond of shoving pills down a dog's mouth!! We accept Cash, Checks and if you use Paypal, we can take credit cards that way I would REALLY appreciate it if you would add a 5% service charge to cover the fees Paypal imposes! Please let me know if you want to send by Paypal and I will send you an invoice, all you need is an email address, you no longer have to have a Paypal account to send money!! PHS Mighty Panther Marching Band : PRINCETON HIGH SCHOOL - MIGHTY MARCHING PANTHER BAND!!! They are MO Betta!!! This band is one of the best in Texas, they consist of over 140 8th grade helpers and 9-12 Band members. They are led by their Band Director and Fearless Leader (aka Mr. Brandon Brewer) With full time help from other fine leaders namely Mr. Bob McClure, Mrs Melissa McClure, Mr. Elmer Schenk, Mr. Barber and part-time by Mr. Carpenter!! They have been in the top 4 bands every time they competed, even placing over schools several times the size in 4A and 5A!! They placed tied for 2nd at the Area Competition October 25th, 2008 at Birdville ISD stadium in North Richland Hills. BEATING 3 TIME STATE CHAMPION CANTON who kept them from winning at the state level in years past!!! So, needless to say, this was a great moral booster for these great kids!! Elora is a Freshman this year 2008-09, she plays the Baritone. She was in the All Region Bands the last 2 years and is an excellent musician!!

Linda's Bonnie Scots - Our Scotties!!! : Aug. 25, 2008 Puppies 8 weeks old & getting their first shots, will be ready to go home in a couple of weeks! Mark and Matthew ae still available... JUNE 30, 2008 Clyda's First Litter Born!! 4 Boys - Available early September!! 4 Little perfect boys with the prettiest shiny fur... They all look Solid Black. Their Daddy is Solid Black while their mother is Black and Silver. So PRETTY!! $600 each for these perfect little angels... Taking deposits now to hold the one you choose. Their names are Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. Luke is the runt, he is very cute and a little fiesty. John is the biggest but he is gentle and patient with his brothers. Mark is the fiesty middle sized - Probably - alpha dog. He is Elora's favorite. Then sweet Mathew, he is also between Luke and John in size but he is very curious and cute... I love them all... I admire each of their unique personalities!! I'd love to talk to you and see which one would be the best for your home. If you meet my ownership requirements... Breeding, raising and socializing our dogs is a very pleasurable experience for us and gives us the excuse to have them. We are very intent on breeding to the AKC standard and attempt to breed and produce puppies that are genetically sound, with excellent temperaments that are well socialized. We would be happy to speak with you about any of our dogs, and figure out if we have the right puppy for you and your family. I only breed AKC dogs - I fear the move to these other pet registries that seem to be popping up everywhere (ACA, APRI, CKC, etc) is a way to register dogs the AKC would deem unregisterable and I can't understand how this can be a good thing!! THese other registries recognize AKC and will give you automatic registration when you show them your dog is AKC registered, then they can be double registered, I don't see what the point in that is either!! Sorry if this offends anyone, I just feel the need to protect purebred dogs, I am very careful to not have any association of lines, that is why I have bought dogs in California and Illinois and many parts of our great state of TEXAS!!! EZ2 - Elena and Zorro's second litter -5 of the healthiest and cutest puppies ever!! All are tri-color party-color! 3 boys and 2 girls. All have a cute little white tip at the end of their tails (love that!!) I paid $1795 for ELena who has an exceptional lineage with many AKC champions in her bloodline. Honestly it shows, Elena is a fine dog and fits the Chihuahua profile perfectly right down to the tiny hole in her skull that all Chihuahuas are supposed to have according to some in the show world!! We are not showing at this time but are very interested in it since our goal is to have the best puppies in the world, both Elora and her chihuahuas and me with my Scotties!!

Girl Scouts ~ Brownie Troup 1163 : 2008 - Princeton Brownie Troop 1163 has been very busy lately with Cookie sales and Christmas projects. Our troop grew from the 5 last year to 9 girls this year! Jan Elsea is our great leader and the girls and us parents too are so lucky to have her!!! 2006 - Princeton has a new Girl Scout Daisy Troop!! Then we found a boy, Sir Bumble of Green Acres. We bought 2 males when we got him thinking a neighbor would want the second- but that didn't work out - - So, I have a gorgeous little AKC boy with a gorgeous little face with "Badger markings" for sale!! DisneyWorld 2006 : We put a special end to the year and a start to Christmas by spending Thanksgiving week at Walt Disney World (FLorida) This made my 14th trip!!! There is nothing like Disney for service and quality! We stayed this trip in the Concierge floor of the Beach club - over next to Epcot! It was so wonderful! There was even a huge gingerbread and chocolate carousel with - - - of course - - hidden Mickeys!!

Close to Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex, we invite you to get out away from your stress and smog in the city into the wonderful country life for the weekend or longer!! We are located 30 miles northeast of Dallas, just 12 miles almost due east of Allen (which is just north of Plano) and just a few miles out of Mc Kinney and Lucas!! Close to Wylie, Rockwall, Rowlett, Fairview, Parker, Murphy, Richardson, Lake Highlands, Carrolton, Addison, Greenville, Anna, Melissa, Van Alsyne, Frisco, Celina, Weston, Royce City... Basically all of the North Texas and Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex!


FULLY HANDICAP ACCCESIBLE!! Lovely Amtico Floors with wood inlay provide an extremely easy surface for maneuvering a wheel chair or Scooter. All doorways are at least 30" across.

Gardens feature over 200 rose bushes - over 100 individual varieties! Over 300 daylilies, thousands of daffodils and many other plants!! Very interesting landscaping for the average or established gardener!!



Fluffy Spa Robes and Slippers provided, 2 TVS – one with DishNetwork Satellite TV (180 channels including Disney Channels, Golf CHannels, many movie channels & more) and one with a DVD VCR with huge library of movies available. Gorgeous pool with negative edge overlooking Lake Lavon. Huge Hot Tub Jacuzzi & Lovely well appointed childrens playground out back!!

You can stop by on your way to DFW Airport and spend the night and leave your pets here while you travel! I'll drive you & pick you up for a small charge and you can save money from airport parking!! If you stay in the B&B and leave your dog (s) in our Kennel, I only charge $50 for a round trip!!


FINALLY!!! Bonnie's first litter has arrived!! 5 Perfect little solid black Scotties were born on August 18, 2007. They will get their first puppy shots and Vet check-up on or around October 15th and be ready to go to new homes shortly thereafter! 2 puppies are spoken for, a 3rd may be soon, so if you are interested in a quality puppy, shoot off an email today!!
